We build different helmets in different ways, so our return policy depends on the product you choose.
Our custom-fit Rhoan helmets are made specifically for you and are backed by our 30-Day Custom Fit Guarantee. Our ready-to-wear Silvo helmets may be returned or exchanged within 30 days as long as they are unused, in new condition, and the red return tag remains attached.
Rhoan:
30-Day Custom Fit Guarantee
Every Rhoan is built specifically for your head. Because of that, we want you to ride it, test it, and experience the fit in real conditions.
You have 30 days from delivery to evaluate your Rhoan helmet. We encourage riders to complete at least five rides before deciding, since Rhoan’s custom-fit system and internal support structure feel different from a traditional foam helmet and may take a few rides to fully adjust to.
If the fit, comfort, or riding experience is not right, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right. Depending on the situation, we may provide fit adjustments, updated accessories, remake your helmet, offer an exchange, or issue a refund.
What’s covered
The Custom Fit Guarantee covers dissatisfaction with the fit, comfort, stability, pressure points, or overall riding experience of your Rhoan custom-fit helmet.
Normal cosmetic wear from reasonable test rides is expected.
What’s not covered
Rhoan helmets are custom-made and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange for change-of-mind reasons unrelated to fit, comfort, or riding experience, including color changes after production, cosmetic preference, or ordering the wrong visual option.
Helmets that have been crashed, damaged, modified, or used outside normal riding conditions are not eligible for return under the Custom Fit Guarantee.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the helmet arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Silvo:
30-Day Ready-to-Wear Return & Exchange Policy
Silvo ready-to-wear helmets may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery if they are unused, in new condition, and include the original packaging, accessories, and red return tag.
You may try the helmet on indoors, adjust the straps and fit system, and confirm the fit before deciding.
To keep returns simple, please leave the red return tag attached while trying it on. Once the red return tag is removed, the helmet is no longer eligible for return or exchange.
Returns and exchanges cannot be accepted if:
- the helmet has been ridden
- the red return tag has been removed or tampered with
- the helmet shows signs of wear, sweat, dirt, damage, or use
- original packaging, accessories, or tags are missing
For rider safety, used helmets cannot be restocked or resold.
Exchanges
If your Silvo is the wrong size, we encourage an exchange so we can get you into the correct fit. Unused Silvo helmets with the red return tag attached may be exchanged for a different size or color, subject to availability.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the helmet arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Refunds & Shipping
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned helmet has been received and inspected.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the helmet arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
This policy applies to all KAV purchases, including promotional, ambassador, friends-and-family, and discounted orders, unless the product was specifically marked final sale at the time of purchase.
At this time, KAV accepts returns and exchanges from the United States and Canada only. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

For Rhoan custom-fit helmets, include fit notes or photos if helpful so our team can determine the best next step.
For Silvo ready-to-wear helmets, please confirm that the helmet is unused and that the red return tag is still attached.
