GRAVEL WORLDS® MISSION:
Gravel Worlds began the way all the best rides do: a few friends, open roads, and no rules. Back in 2008, before the name existed, it was called The Goodlife Gravel Adventure — just a group of riders in Nebraska chasing big miles, bleeding lungs, and bigger stories. No categories. No officials. No prize money. Just pure, unscripted competition and post-ride beers.
By 2010, the name Gravel Worlds was born. Around 100 riders showed up, some to race, others to simply survive 150+ miles of unmarked gravel and heat. Cue sheets replaced course markers. Gas station receipts proved you stayed honest. It was gritty, grassroots, and unforgettable—the foundation of what’s now known as the #GravelFamily.
Since then, Gravel Worlds has grown without losing its soul. The field is bigger, and yes, there are a few more rules—but the mission stays the same: create a kick-ass event for every kind of rider. Whether you're there to race, ride, or just roll with friends, everyone shares the same roads. That’s the kind of event we believe in.
