HEX HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE™
No MIPS Necessary:3D printing enables us to create a crumple zone that can compress almost 3x more than traditional helmets.This structure allows the helmet to shear when needed or compress when needed based on the impact eliminating the need for both MIPS or an extra layer.
CUSTOM FIT & MADE FOR YOU
With a few simple taps, our KAV Fit App will capture your unique contours, for a helmet that’s made exclusively for you.Our advanced 3D technology captures 18 facial features, using 2 image dimensions per photo across 3 images, resulting in a total of 108 measurements per helmet.The whole process from order to delivery of your custom helmet takes as little as two weeks + shipping.
SAFETY: THIS IS OUR MISSION
Whereas most companies outsource all their testing, we have our own test lab and utilize a network of 3rd party test labs to verify the results.Without the constraints of styrofoam, we use our KAV PolyCarbon Composite, Hex Honeycomb Structure, and fit pad system to holistically reduce linear and rotational impacts by 50% more than the U.S. CPSC safety standards.
